        Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best: 

 

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

 

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, intraoral digital dental X-rays, periodontal treatment, tooth extractions and oral surgery

 

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

 

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

 

Emergency Care:  Please call our main telephone number for instructions for after-hour emergencies.

 

Endoscopy:  Fiberoptic endoscopy is available for minimally invasive gastro-intestinal evaluations and biopsies

 

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular situation.  We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your home, your yard, and on your pet.  Our flea products are competively priced to make advanced flea control not only simple, but also affordable.

 

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations

    
Laparoscopic Surgery  We are pleased to offer this new alternative to traditional surgery.  Using minimally invasive techniques with just two or three minute incisions we can perform a variety of abdominal surgeries and avoid large, painful incisions associated with traditional scapel surgeries.

 

Pain:  All our surgical patients receive a pain medications before, during, and after surgery.


Permanent identification: We offer the new AKC microchip.  Unlike some brands of microchips our's does not have an annual fee to maintain your pet's registration.

 

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.


Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders

 

Surgical Services:  We perform a full range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures.  In addition to traditional techniques our clinic also uses a radiosurgery unit in special cases to minimize bleeding and reduce pain.  Radiosurgery utilizes high frequency radiowave energy to make incisions instead of a steel blade. 
   
Ultrasound:  Our practice has a fully digital, color doppler ultrasound for non-invasive advanced diagnostic imaging.
