Rachel--Licensed Veterinary Technician

Rachel is a fully licensed veterinary technician and enjoys living in beautiful Skagit Valley.  Outside of work she loves going hiking, playing piano, cooking, reading historical novels, and being with friends for adventures.

     "I am very close to to my family and also have some four legged buddies; Tiny Tim (pug), Abby (chihuahua), and Zoe (maltese), who always keep everyday life exciting"

 

 

 

 

Tracy--Veterinary Assistant, Receptionist

Tracy started with Dr. Baber back in 1996. She knows the clinic and our clients very well.  She is a great help in the treatment area as well as up front interacting with our clients.  She is very knowledgable so don't hesitate to ask Tracy for help! 

 

She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping for antiques, and raising chickens.

 

 

 

 

Alisa--Certified Veterinary Assistant

 

Alisa is a certified veterinary assistant.  She has special interests in pet dentistry and assisting with surgery.  Alisa grew up in the small town of Darrington. 

     "Outside of work I enjoy photography, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and with my fractious little feline Aspen"

 

 

 

 

 

Alex--Veterinary Assistant

  My large family (11 siblings!) and I enjoy living in rural Skagit County.  Outside of my job, I enjoy beekeeping, playing cello, singing, yard work and landscaping, and of course, spending time with friends and family, as well as taking care of my fur-covered buddies--Kooza the cat, Rex and Nayda our German Shepherds. 


 

 

 Sally--Veterinary Assistant, Receptionist

In addition to working both the front desk and the treatment, surgery, dental areas of the clinic, Sally helps manage our inventory.  Keeping our shelves and supplies stocked is vital to the operations of the practice.

 

 Stephanie--Certified Veterinary Assistant

Stephanie helps with every aspect of patient care including surgeries,  X-rays, ultrasound, dentistry, and anesthesia monitoring.    

 

 Andrew--Veterinary Assistant

Andrew divides his time between working as a veterinary assistant here at the animal clinic and at the human Skagit Valley Hospital as an emergency room technician.  Last summer he could be found swimming with Beluga whales and photographing Polar Bears in the Arctic with a National Geographic team.  Andrew will soon be leaving to enroll in the UW Physician's Assistant course.
